How WARDOGS wipes work
WARDOGS is a tactical all-out warfare FPS by BULKHEAD, published by Team17. One hundred players split across three teams fight over a control zone in the derelict industrial mountains of Eastern Europe, on a destructible battlefield where teamwork pays and cash is king. The game launched in Steam Early Access on September 10, 2026.
WARDOGS is organized in seasons. According to the in-game Gold Exchange text, level progression and cash reset at the end of a major update cycle, and any cash you have left is automatically converted to Gold Bars at the daily rate. BULKHEAD has said each season will have a different XP curve and a different order of item unlocks. Season 2 starts on October 15, 2026; the developers have said the first seasons are short and that seasons will get longer later in Early Access.

How to prepare for the next wipe
- Leftover cash becomes Gold Bars at the daily exchange rate — check the rate before the season ends.
- Spend cash on fun loadouts and vehicles in the final days; it will not carry over as cash.
- Read the Season 2 patch notes: the XP curve and unlock order change every season.
- Expect a maintenance window on wipe day. BULKHEAD usually schedules maintenance around 08:00 UTC.
